About Paula's Pet Care
My name is Paula, my love of animals began at a very young age. I have owned many animals
including dogs, cats, rabbits, gerbils, terripins and parakeets. I have taken in unwanted and
neglected pets, given them a home, love and attention they so needed.

Over the years my fascination of animals grew more and more. I decided to go to collage and
study City & Guilds Level 3 Advanced National Certificate in Animal Care. I gained practical
experience working as a volunteer at Paradise Park wildlife sanctuary working with many species
of parrots / birds, rabbits, guinea pigs, goats and many more.

I first became interested in zoology and conservation while studying for my City and Guilds, I had the opportunity to further my knowledge and went on to study a Foundation Degree in Zoological Conservation. I worked along side employees at Newquay Zoo whilst working as a volunteer over a 12 month period.

Having completed my foundation degree I worked full time at Crealey Adventure Park as an animal ranger, gaining further practical experience and expanding my knowledge and skills. I worked in the small animal section rabbits, guinea pigs, goats, pigs, lambs, calfs and completed the Basic Ground Skills to Positive Horsemanship course whilst working along side Heavy Horses and Miniature Shetland Ponies.
